“Immigration is never one-size-fits-all. This is more than work. It’s our story too.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to hire an Immigration Consultant?
Immigration Consultants do more than complete forms and organize documents. We help you understand your options, develop the right strategy, and present your application as strongly as possible. With immigration policies constantly changing and applications being assessed more closely, professional guidance can help you avoid costly mistakes and unnecessary delays.
At Pacific Stream Immigration, we provide knowledgeable, proactive, and personalized guidance to help you navigate the process with confidence.
How do I book a consultation, and how much does it cost?
Booking a consultation is easy. Simply complete our Request to Book form, and our team will contact you to provide our intake form and confirm your appointment.
Consultations are available online through Microsoft Teams or in person in Victoria, BC.
Our consultation fee is $120 plus applicable taxes for a 45-minute comprehensive consultation with an Immigration Consultant. If you decide to proceed with our services within one month of your consultation, we will apply the consultation fee as a credit toward our professional fees.
At Pacific Stream Immigration, we provide knowledgeable, proactive, and personalized guidance to help you navigate the process with confidence.
I’m a Canadian employer. How can I support a current or potential employee with their work permit?
We help Canadian employers identify the best way to support a foreign worker, whether through the International Mobility Program (IMP), which is LMIA-exempt, or the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).
Where an LMIA is required, we guide you through the entire process, from assessing eligibility, preparing and submitting the application to guiding you through the interview. We also help employers understand their ongoing compliance obligations after the LMIA is approved.
My immigration application was refused. Can you help?
Yes. We have helped many clients move forward after immigration refusals, including clients who have experienced multiple refusals.
A refusal does not always mean that your immigration goals are no longer possible. We start by carefully reviewing the refusal reasons and your previous application to determine what went wrong and what options may be available.
While we can never guarantee an approval, we can guarantee that we will take the time to understand your case and do our best to build a stronger application that directly addresses the concerns raised by the immigration officer.
How can I obtain Permanent Residence in Canada?
There is no one-size-fits-all pathway to permanent residence. Your options depend on factors such as your age, education, work experience, language ability, occupation, and Canadian experience.
The best place to start is with an initial assessment. During your consultation, we’ll review your profile, identify potential pathways, explain the requirements and documents needed, and assess your points or score. If your score needs improvement, we’ll also discuss practical ways to strengthen your profile.
